For the calm and collected souls seeking a stable and controlled environment to shoot, our instructors offer a private 1-on-1 or 1-on-2 session at the gun ranges of the Port Coquitlam and District Hunting and Fishing Club. Here, we will shoot a variety of rifles, shotguns and handguns.
In two and a half hours, our instructor will take you from zero to hero with a firearm. The following are included in this adventure:
- Firearm handling and basic safety practices
- Gun range etiquette and rules
- Basic marksmanship skills
- Firing and loading of a bolt action rifle
- Firing and loading of two types of semi-automatic rifles
- Firing and loading of two types of pump action shotguns
- Firing and loading of two types of semi-automatic shotguns
- Firing and loading of a revolver*
- Firing and loading of a semi-automatic handgun*
*Availability dependent on availability of manpower at the gun-range. Additional time and ammo will be spent on long guns if we are unable to shoot handguns.
